The FAD dance program is designed to challenge and extend the talents and skills of our young performers. Beginners to advanced classes are available from three year olds to adults. The program includes regular dance sessions, workshops with guest performers, intensive training courses as well as ongoing training in technique, stage presentation and choreography. With our extensive range of class styles and levels the choice is yours! 

We believe it is the role of our instructors to not only teach dance but aid in the personal growth of each student. Students are given personalised attention in a fun, exciting and encouraging environment. All Fitness and Dance instructors have successfully completed the FAD Instructor training course involving extensive studies in anatomy, physiology, safe exercise practices and teaching techniques. Once qualified our instructors are obliged to attend regular training sessions to maintain registration. 

Try before you buy!*  New students are welcome to attend up to 4 lessons before enrolment is due. Once enrolled, students receive a complimentary dance CD valued at $15 to use at home for practice. (*Regular class fee applies to all lessons attended)

No term fees or paying for lessons you miss! At FAD, class fees are paid on a weekly basis for the classes you attend. Class fees start from $7.00

Enrolled students are offered many great opportunities such as:

• Mass group performances at the Brisbane Ekka.
• Master Classes with guest presenters like Luis Pinto from Mega Jam.
• Dance Development Programs.
• Choreography Competitions.
• Eisteddfods
• End of year concerts

Performances are not compulsory and you can pick and choose to participate in those events, performances and extra classes that interest YOU!

Building self esteem and confidence is vital in developing a student’s unique talent and ability. At FAD we believe in rewarding every student for their individual achievements. Rewards are regularly presented in class for effort, attendance, improvement and performance. Students also have the opportunity to receive a trophy for grading achievements at the end of the year.

With our unique motivational teaching techniques, everyone can learn to dance.  No experience is necessary. Students of similar age are grouped together and students with a higher level of proficiency can take advantage of our advanced class levels.

Jazz:
Our Jazz routines are fun and challenging, using the latest hit music. Jazz class offers instruction in dance technique and performance presentation.  For the 3 to 5 year olds we offer a special program designed to enhance co-ordination, gross motor skills and confidence.

Chorus Line: 
A class full of strut and style!  Become a part of the FAD chorus line dance team. Improve performance skills and personal presentation. The ‘showy’ chorus line class is a great companion to the jazz and Hip Hop classes.
