Kids Supporting Sick Kids through Dance!

FAD has raised over $20 000 for Queensland Kids Charities 2011

On Saturday 10^th of September, Fitness and Dance held their Annual Inter Studio Dance Carnival with over 3000 dancers and cheerleaders from over 50 Fitness and Dance Queensland Studio locations across the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba. 

Throughout 2011 FAD Students, Parents and Friends have collectively raised over $20 000 for Queensland Charities, Swim 4 Kids and South East Queensland Ronald McDonald Houses through local performance fundraising initiatives. Campo from 97.3fm as MC and ambassador for Swim 4 Kids receiving a giant cheque of $10 000 for money raised by Fitness and Dance Studios in support of Swim 4 Kids.

This mammoth event commences with all FAD performers on the field partaking in a spectacular performance of the FAD Carnival Dance from students aged from three years to adults.

The evening continued with a field filled with colourful costumes, energetic dancers and athletic cheerleaders performing to the latest songs with the evening concluding with a fireworks finale.  The annual dance extravaganza is a free entry family event, open to the public. This night showcased an outstanding display of Funky Jazz, Hip Hop and Cheerleading routines.
