FAD was established in 1980 by founder and managing director, Sharin Caine.  Sharin had an extensive career in dance spanning 35 years and developed the Fitness and Dance program catering for people of all ages allowing everybody to feel the excitement of dance in a fun, friendly and rewarding atmosphere. 

In November of 2007, Sharin Caine retired as Managing Director and Sandy Carrington, a successful Franchisee of 11 years assumed the role as Managing Director.  Sandy's career in dance spans 25 years performing, competing, instructing, judging and completing examinations in many forms of dance including classical ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics.  Sandy is an experienced and qualified dance instructor and accredited cheer leading coach.  Sandy combines her extensive dance experience with a 10 year career in financial management though her first passion is dance.

For over 26 years FAD dance studios have steadily earned a reputation as being one of the most respected dance schools in the country. FAD teaching staff are qualified, highly dedicated and caring professionals committed to helping students realise their full potential.
